New year, updated plan

The Thriving Greenspaces and AtkinsRéalis teams have shared the latest zoning diagram for the activity hub which is currently under development.

This includes the following changes:
• The introduction of a pétanque court.
• The introduction of a public toilet block which sits independent of the pavilion building beside the cycle path.
• The relocation of the ‘parkour zone’.
• A reduction in the size of the ping-pong and chess table area (to accommodate the public toilet block).

Many of the updates to the design are in response to the October consultation and will continue to evolve following further engagement with the local community. The work is continuing with Betongpark on more detailed designs for the skatepark, pump track and rollerskating facilities.
