Copenhagen

We recently sent our man in the field Ruari Britee-Steer on a diplomatic cultural exchange programme to Copenhagen. Okay, he went for a long weekend of skateboarding and other such nonsense to catch up with old friends.

Anyway. He snapped some photos of skateable or rideable architecture in the streets on his way round the city (all these were in the space of a few hours on the Sunday, cycling to and from one of the big, proper skateparks). Also shown are some cool play park features and the outdoor boxing ring that some of you have fond memories of.

This is a fraction of what’s out there on the streets and bike paths and in the many public parks of this remarkable city. Get out there and see for yourself.

Remember: we’re not going to make Leith just like Copenhagen, we’re going to make it better.
